This year’s honorary degree recipient is world-renowned author and journalist Gail Sheehy, who has changed the way millions of people worldwide look at the stages of their lives. 在她50年的作家生涯中，她采访了成千上万的女性和男性，写了17本书。 Her earliest revolutionary book, 段落, was named by a Library of Congress survey one of the ten most influential books of our times. 段落 remained on The 纽约时报 Bestseller List for more than three years and has been reprinted in 28 languages.
