Roughly one hundred participants focused on the 康涅狄格制造业的未来 gathered for the 2018制造业女性峰会：我们是创客 at Goodwin College’s Business and 制造业 Center on May 16.

Individuals interested in encouraging women to consider career options in business and manufacturing discussed 破除神话 about today’s manufacturing environments; 工作机会的种类和数量； 补偿问题; 改变妇女的选择，特别是那些平衡家庭责任和继续教育的妇女。 副州长南希·怀曼 在开幕致辞中，她介绍了自己的工作经历，以及制造业女性的未来。

As part of the Summit, a photographic exhibit, courtesy of 移民美国的就业机会, featured stunning photographs of women in all areas of modern manufacturing. The Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer Deanne Fitzmaurice, based in San Francisco, attended the Summit and spoke to attendees about her work.
