Occupational therapy assistants (OTAs) are assistants to occupational therapists. If certified, OTAs then become COTAs- certified occupational therapy assistants.

OTAs and COTAs help their clients perform everyday tasks like progressing and maintaining physical motor skills and assisting their clients with mental, developmental, and emotional tasks. The ultimate goal of OTAs are to help clients live an enjoyable and fulfilling life.
