Funeral Service Program Admission
Admissions process
Our associate degree in Funeral Service is a selective admission program. Admission is based on a point system, detailed in the Goodwin University catalog. Admission is granted to the top 20 on-ground applicants twice per year and the top 15 online applicants once per year.
You may apply to the program only after completing all prerequisite coursework.
Entry requirements
- Complete the application for admission into Goodwin University
- Complete the Funeral Service program application
- Earn a minimum GPA of 2.7 in the most recent university coursework
- Complete Human Biology (BIO 120) or equivalent with laboratory component with a grade of a “C” or higher
- Complete Microbiology (BIO 235) or equivalent with laboratory component with a grade of a “C+” or higher - must be completed within the last 10 years
