Goodwin University Lactation Room

In a continuing effort to support employees through the important transitions in their lives, Goodwin University has established a Lactation Room for nursing mothers. This facility, located in the main campus building, has two private pumping areas, both with hospital grade electric breast pumps. Each nursing mother is provided with a personal breast pump accessory kit and cooler in which to store breast milk while they are at work. Employees who are expecting and are considering breast feeding can participate in educational classes offered quarterly by an RN with breast feeding expertise. Scheduling for these classes will be promoted in advance.
