What is Computer Numerical Control “CNC” Machining?
CNC stands for Computer Numerical Control. CNC machining is the computerized control of machines (such as drills, lathes, and 3D printers) by coding a computer with a set of programmed instructions, such as a G-code, as opposed to a manual operator. The set of programmed instructions can be written by people or computer-aided design (CAD) software to cut, drill, and shape a variety of materials.
