An emergency room nurse must earn an associate or bachelor’s nursing degree from a state-approved nursing school, and pass the NCLEX‑RN exam administered by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN). Additional certifications can advance your career as an ER nurse, such as the Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) credentials offered by the 急救护士协会.
